Terms of Use

These Terms form an agreement between you and Engager (Pty) Ltd when you create an account or use Engager. The platform helps South African communities connect with people, businesses, jobs, goods and events.

Your account and content

Provide accurate information, secure your login and register a business only when authorised. You keep ownership of content you post and give Engager a non-exclusive licence to store and display it as needed to operate and promote the platform. Post only content you have permission to use.

Businesses, jobs, events and sales

Only registered businesses may post jobs and community diary events. Businesses are responsible for accurate, lawful listings and recruitment. Engager introduces people but is not the employer, recruiter, seller, buyer or party to user transactions.

Prohibited use

Do not break the law; threaten, harass or unlawfully discriminate; impersonate anyone; invade privacy; spread malware; scrape the service; manipulate engagement; or post scams, prohibited goods, misleading jobs, spam or harmful content.

Moderation

We may investigate reports and restrict, hide or remove content or accounts to protect users, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Serious or repeated abuse may lead to suspension. Contact support if you believe a decision was mistaken.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Engager reliable and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted access or verify every user, business or listing. To the extent permitted by South African law, Engager is not responsible for independent dealings between users. Nothing removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance. South African law applies. Contact support@engager.co.za.
