For applicants

• Legitimate employers should not require payment to apply or obtain a job.
• Do not send passwords, banking credentials or unnecessary identity documents.
• Beware of unrealistic pay, pressure, vague duties or text-only interviews.

For businesses

• Post accurate duties, location, requirements and contact details.
• Do not discriminate unlawfully, request application fees or mislead applicants.
• Collect only necessary information and protect it.
• Close filled listings.
